These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by The Maritimes Energy Association without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademarks, Participation Disclaimer, and Indemnification shall survive any termination.
The content included in this site, including but not limited to text, graphics or code is copyrighted as a collective work under the Canadian copyright laws, and is the property of The Maritimes Energy Association unless another party, identified by the name or logo on materials posted, is identified as being the copyright owner. Memberships are not transferable and are valid until the end of our fiscal year and are renewable on an annual basis. The membership belongs to the company that has rendered payment to The Maritimes Energy Association and not to the individual who registered the member company. By entering an individual’s email address into the member company contact profile, the individual will receive The Maritimes Energy Association emails advising of upcoming events and seminars.
Once the annual membership fees are paid, refunds of the fee will not be granted, in whole or in part, should a member decide to resign their membership part way through the year.
Events may consist of seminars, conferences, luncheons, or other forms of advertised events whether attendance is free or if an admission fee is charged to attend.
Your name and contact information collected during the registration process may be shared with event participants and the speakers in the form of a delegate list. By registering for the event you are consenting to the use and disclosure of the information for this purpose. Registration information will not be shared with event exhibitors, sponsors and other conference delegates.
The Maritimes Energy Association reserves the right to cancel events at any time prior to the scheduled date; in this case, our liability is limited to a full refund of the session fee. Confirmation of registration to any specific event will be sent by email or fax before the event or workshop. Payment is due upon registration.
Registrants who do not show up for the event in question are not eligible for a refund.
Cancellations received by our offices by mail/email within the specified cancellation date are refundable and may be subject to an administration fee. Refunds will not be given after that date, however, delegate substitution is permitted.
The Maritimes Energy Association makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that information presented at events is accurate and current, but The Maritimes Energy Association does not take any responsibility for errors or omissions made by any speaker at The Maritimes Energy Association events, including The Maritimes Energy Association staff members who speak at such events.
