The Incubatory Network is a network of cleantech incubators/accelerators (eg. Water, clean energy, sustainability). It is expanding its international footprint and would be interested in opening up the membership opportunity to Canadian incubators/accelerators in Cleantech. There is no cost for membership.
The network meets two times a year in different cities in the US. They choose the locations based on other events that many incubators/accelerators attend to reduce travel costs.
Meetings are generally focused on discussing best practices and opportunities in the following:
- technology commercialization for startups
- investment opportunities for the startups
- funding opportunities for the incubators and accelerators
There will meeting in Chicago on August 13, 2019. To provide an example, the morning session will be focused on incubator/accelerator networking, whereas the afternoon will have selected startups pitch to the network. For each meeting, all members can put forward startups as possible candidates for this opportunity.
If any incubators/accelerators are interested in the Chicago meeting, please confirm soonest to Laura Dalby.
Alternatively, interested parties can contact Erik Steeb for information on membership and subsequent meetings.
